About Me
I am a PhD research scholar in Mechanical Engineering and a graduate of Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati, where I completed my M.Tech in Energy Engineering in 2022. My thesis focused on the Tribological Characterisation of Bio Lubricant from Cucurbita Pepo L. Seed Oil — studying the friction and wear properties of plant-based lubricants as eco-friendly alternatives to petroleum lubricants.
Over my academic career, I have been granted 5 registered design patents and published 1 utility patent. I am also the author of 2 peer-reviewed research papers and 1 conference paper, all indexed in international academic databases including Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Web of Science.
During my years as a student and researcher, I spent a lot of time struggling with report and thesis formatting — figuring out the right structure, fonts, page orders, and citation styles that universities demand. Most of what I learned came from YouTube, the internet, and pure trial and error — rarely from teachers.
I built ReportWriting.in to fix that gap. It is a free tool that guides students step by step through the exact format Indian universities require — with automatic Cover Pages, Table of Contents, and PDF export — no signup needed.
Why I Write These Guides
Most of my teachers were from an older generation where you submitted a typed report and that was that. Knowing which AI tools to use, how to manage citations with Zotero, or how to use NotebookLM for a literature review — none of that was taught to us. I learned it all myself. These guides are my way of passing that knowledge on to the next batch of students.
